IOGEAR is pushing the envelope again with the GCS1782G, a 2-port Dual Link DVI KVMP switch with 7.1 audio, high-end 3D graphics support, is compatible with most gaming keyboards and has an integrated 2-port USB 2.0 hub for peripheral sharing. Now users can control two computers and share multiple USB peripherals from a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse console.
It features IOGEAR's DynaSync technology which allows the KVMP to read and remember the monitor's optimal display parameters and refresh rate, a function critical in today's graphic intense applications where large wide screen displays (up to 30") are required.
This powerful KVMP will increase efficiency and save equipment cost for applications where ultra-high video resolution, large or widescreen monitors are required. Achieve 4K UHD Resolution with this Dual-Link DVI KVM Switch using IOGEAR's GHDDVIC4K3 4K HDMI to DVI-D Converter Cable. With this reversible 4K cable, you may use 4K HDMI source and project to 4K HDMI monitor, without the need to upgrade your Dual-Link DVI KVM switch setup.
The patented asynchronous switching allows the user to independently switch applications between the connected computers. You can run one application on one computer while running another application on the other. Moreover, the integrated 2-port USB 2.0 hub is available for each computer to share multiple peripherals connected to the hub or via an external powered USB 2.0 hub. Access to such peripherals is performed on a one-at-a-time basis. Finally, the audio ports allow for connecting powered desktop speakers for stereo sound and a single microphone for audio input/output to each computer.
This 2-port KVM also offers a cost effective solution to increase security by allowing users to switch between the Internet connected PC and an Intranet connected PC.
