It delivers amazingly clear, crisp Xtreme Fidelity music playback, incredible surround sound over headphones or multichannel speakers and the fastest, smoothest game play with hardware-accelerated game audio. The modular architecture ensures optimized performance, quality, and capabilities with dedicated modes for music, movies, gaming, and audio creation.
The Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium audio card features X-Fi 24-bit Crystalizer, X-Fi CMSS-3D X-Fi CMSS-3D X-Fi 24-bit and EAX ADVANCED HD 5.0 support. X-Fi 24-bit Crystalizer enhances MP3s and movies to sound better than they do on their original CD or DVD and automatically upgrades existing games into Xtreme Fidelity while X-Fi CMSS-3D allows you to upgrade your MP3 music and movies into amazing surround sound and experience ultra-realistic positional audio in your games with headphones or multichannel speakers. EAX advanced HD 5.0 supports features like 128 voice support, EAX MacroFX, EAX PurePath and Environment FlexiFX set a new standard for EAX and realism available in gaming audio.
Sound Blaster X-Fi audio processor delivers an "active modal architecture" that allows you, the user, to switch between one of three modes (gaming, entertainment and audio creation). Each mode dynamically dedicates the processor's power to deliver the features, quality and capabilities that you require for that usage.
The Sound Blaster X-Fi audio processor features a Sample Rate Convertor engine that is so precise that any audio resolution is converted to any other resolution at near transparency with 136db SNR. This delivers a quality audio experience and frees up the audio creation user from having to think about the final required resolution.
The Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium has a FlexiJack, which serves both as a microphone in/ line in, and as a digital I/O connection. The FlexiJack configuration can be changed in the software. Changing this setting will vary depending upon the mode you are using the card in - audio creation mode, entertainment mode, or game mode.
